COC is only pay-to-win with the so called "gems" as I am aware of. If this Towny wars suggestion would be highly based off COC, then people would use meebles. That would STILL make Towny wars pay-to-win, because you can donate for meebles on the donation page.

There's some feature that allows nations to opt out of war for a price built into towny. We could make towns decide on activating this at the beginning of each month to keep towns from quickly toggling this to attack other nations and then making themselves immune.

As far as I understand beta did a lot of damage to the economy, gamma (which in on Trello rn) would probably do the same. (Lemme know if I'm wrong)

Hea you're wrong, more towns are better, they remove. Meebles and raise the value of meebles. Or economy is pretty good though
