Introduction: I am an avid software developer who is currently building a website (adriancedwards.com/beta). My goal in life is to write software that helps people get things done easier and make peoples lives simpler. Why should you be Helper? I like helping people and am very knowledgeable about the various minecraft commands and plugins installed on meep. While I could be called a computer nerd, I am also able to simplify technical descriptions so less-techy people can understand (I helped my grandma switch from a Windows phone to an iPhone) What are your weaknesses? I would say my biggest weakness is that I am to sympathetic. I often give people second-chances in my town and give them plots for free if their balance is low. Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I am also an avid software developer and would like to ask if I can be both a helper AND a tech.

This tells me almost nothing about you. Try adding in a whole lot more detail, tell us about you so we have a clear picture.

Why should you be Helper? I like helping people and am very knowledgeable about the various minecraft commands and plugins installed on meep. Judging by this I'm not sure you know exactly what the helper job entails. The majority of the work is just doing modreqs and helping out in general. I'm not sure how your being a computer nerd is a strength much here.

This is not a weakness. We're looking for things that would hinder you from being a good helper, such as immaturity, impatience, and anger issues. You should also explain how you are working on the issues.

The helper and tech are two very very different jobs and techs I know are very busy and I'm not sure would be able to do the helper job much. I suggest picking one.

Overall the app was poor in detail and I'm not sure you know what you're really applying for.
My suggestions:
Be more active in the community server wide, try to be mature and helpful and nice.
If you want to be a tech, feel free to apply but file a tech application rather than a helper one.
If you want to be a helper just be active, make constructive forum posts, be nice on TS, etc.
Try to put more effort into your app, if you can't put effort in your app that shows us you aren't really taking it that serious.

Overall, -1. I'd like to see you more.

What I meant by the computer nerd part is that I know acommands the commands used in meepcraft and I am able to explain things in a simple way to help newcomers understand

Thank you for the time you spent reviewing my application. I will make a greater commitment to being online more in the future and, in the meantime, I will try and help other players who ask questions in /g.

If you need any more helpers on the server, I hope you will consider me as a candidate even though my application may not have been as complete as it could have been.

Noo, resubmitting an app is a nono. WE don't like it when people dit things into their application.
Those are things to work on in the future for your next app in the case of you deciding to apply again.

I don't really know you, and I haven't seen much of you around the server. The application wasn't bad, but wasn't good either. If you're applying for helper, then you're applying for helper. You can't handle two positions at once.

We frown upon resubmitting and editing because it shows a sign of lack of proof reading/fixing mistakes that we may need to take into account. But being that were human sometimes we do mess up. Your best bet is to just stay true to the application and don't edit it. ;)

The helper-or-tech situation is difficult. While I may have more experience in tech, I don't know very much Java (which I presume is a must for techs). Also, Helper seems like less of a time commitment so I can have time to work on personal projects such as my website.

Also, while I enjoy working with technology, I would rather spend my in-game time helping players and interacting with the community, not managing plugins and the backend if meep.

I have also recently invested in the team speak app so I can stay connected to the community while I'm offline.

Your app was really bad, it didn't give me near to any information as to why YOU stick out form the rest of the server. Give your application some POP! Make it make you look like a candidate worthy of acceptance.
This is a good scenario to put it, lets think of it as you applying for a job, you want yours to be SPOTLESS, Would you have submitted this to a business?
I don't see you much, and you saying you recently rejoined the server tells me why, Your super new if you rejoin and it just cant make me believe your helper material right now
As I usually say! Everyone has potential, keep chasing it and never give up!

Im not going to mention anything ingame, as I dont frequent meep anymore.

This application was extremely sub-par. It looks like it was written in a matter of minutes, whereas this sort of thing should be considering in a time span of at least a week. IF this was a helper application, there is little to nothing referring to why you should be helper other than the fact that you can help... IF this was a tech application, you listed nothing in regards to what you know as far as programming languages other than that you are building a website, which isn't highly complex.

I don't know how to take this application in its current state, but it might be of higher quality if/when you reapply. For now, I'm going to have to go with a -1.

So from your application I can really see I think you'd be best to apply for tech. But nonetheless, I think you've got some qualities of a helper. You are quite very active and very friendly. Maybe step up your helpfulness in shout, and get more active on forums.

Your application was also really short. Tell us more about yourself, elaborate more about why you are applying.

Photoave, I'm going to have to say this is the biggest -1 I have ever given on an application.

Why?

- Never seen you in game.
- Never seen you on TS.
- Be specific about what you're applying for. If you're applying for Helper, apply for Helper. If you're applying for Tech, apply for Tech. Don't go mashing the two together.
- Your weakness was being "too sympathetic". As said in MANY other applications, being too sympathetic is not a weakness. People just use this because they're too lazy to think deeply about proper weaknesses. Some examples would be, toxicity, immaturity, or procrastination.
- Your application was extremely short. I don't know anything about you, other than that you're 15 and live in the USA. What do you like doing? What interests you? What is your Meepcraft experience? Your references are only people you previously know. I doubt these people have actually played Meepcraft. You say you "joined back recently". Do you know about the major updates Meepcraft has had? Do you know your way around the server now that it's changed?

Overall, this application is one of the worst I've seen. This is an extremely big -1 from myself.

Photo, I've seen you in game quite a lot recently, and I've handled a few of your modreqs. You've got tons of potential for helper, in my opinion, and you just need to give some more effort.

Some ways you can improve include:
- More forums activity. Get to know everyone on the server a little better, and give some valuable feedback
- Applying with a better application. Try to add some more detail as to why you should be a helper, and giving us more info about yourself and your wonderful qualities.

So this section for me was extremely lacking, here you are meant to tell us who you are, your experience on meep, why you play, and maybe what you enjoy about the server. Don't be afraid to put in as much detail as possible.

So this is the part where you really want to put in the most detail, one thing I try to stick by is answering the following: Who? What? When? Where? Why? and How? E.g. Who are you? What can you do for the server? etc. Also after this maybe use some sub-headings like: Experience, Work ethic Etc.

So as I said before currently you application sits at a -1 for me however if you put the time in your application and work on the things above from not only me but other people then hopefully it can change.
