Meep to me means regrets. Too much wasted time, too little reward. I gave this server way too many chances, which I've come to realise. It just keeps failing to deliver. When I first joined in 2012, I was addicted to this server, like nothing I'd ever done before. A thousand players, I would play 12 hours a day, I would just have fun. Three and a half years later, and I'm doing nothing more than checking forums once a week. This server has gotten old and well past its heyday. I know as a fact I'm not the only one who has this opinion.
Clearly the Meep development team hasn't done the best job over the past 3-4 years, and the reason I believe for that is because for a long time, they were lying to themselves. This isn't the 'World's Largest Towny Server'. This isn't a thriving metropolis which is the cultural hub of Minecraft. It's a server trying to stay on its feet in a ball pit.
All you really need is a reform. Stop adding useless custom plugins and fix the mini games, economy and marketing.
