Well, looks like I need to do some clarification for everyone.
This is why rank sellers exist.
~ @Muunkee
Clearly, Mojang didn't feel rank sellers eliminated "pay to win."
it's still an advantage because the people who are willing to pay real money will just skip right through all the time spent trying to get meebles
~ @Bloopers
Yes, it is still a slight advantage, but tell me, why would anyone donate if they don't get something or save time? No one ever donated for Premium to get /dis pig, they wanted /feed!
-1 funner to have rank sellers, that's how they get their meebles. And villagers would take it and do nothing. Some people will like it because it takes money out of the economy in meepAlso money NEEDS to be sent to meep in some way for ranks. Not meebles in the game. Meep needs real money
~ @Burritoh
By adding the option to buy ranks in-game (Though vastly overpriced), it makes it cheaper to pay a rank seller who
will pay hard currency.
-1 as this would probably cause a lot of rage amongst many people with ranks, especially those who have paid with their own money. It would also be a major loss of income for the server.
~ @twomoo1119
Isn't it causing rage already that people payed their money for ranks, only to have the reason they bought it removed?
Why would people get mad when buying ranks with meebles has always been a thing? If anything, they would be happier that the rank they purchased would be worth more.
~ @n00bslayer_99
Ideas like this are always hated on because people automatically assume it would reduce server revenue; however, it would not because it they would be vastly overpriced (like everything you buy in /warp shop).
