The title of this thread is "Tough Times" and Jordan brought up that he was going through tough times because of the baby, I guess financially. As I stated, my friend is 17 years old and is having a kid with his 16 year old girlfriend. My friend is living in a financial fantasy since he thinks he can financially take care of a child by being a bag boy at a local grocery store, until he enters a trade for welding. A baby is a lot of work, You are up all night, constantly feeding him/her. I cannot donate to Jordan because of a lack of funds, but If I had money, I would donate, as long as he is ok with CAD.
I'll just say this,
but why didn't your friend's girlfriend wait until marriage to have a child?

The reason I was told, was because she was depressed and she just wanted to start life earlier to get a head start, which is in my opinion insane. But my friend told me that he is going to propose to her at prom.
