Balancing EULA and Ranks

The Idea

As everyone knows, the EULA removed every perk we ever really liked. This includes:
1. /fly
2. /fix
3. /spawner
4. /nv
5. Water Breathing
6. /feed (Was given to all players, then taken away from everyone)
7. /heal
So the question is, who is going to donate $160 to Supreme if it only gets sethomes, and cosmetic stuff?
We all know every Admin did their absolute best to salvage as much as they could, and are working to re-implement perks that are EULA compliant. Here is a way we can give everyone absolutely everything back, keep everything to their ranks (No citizens with /feed), and still be EULA compliant: make ranks purchasable with Meebles.

How would this help the server?

Okay, so you all probably assume I'm insane right about now. This would work by putting signs in the /warp shop that allow you to rank up. Therefore, say, /fix could be kept as Elite only, because any player could earn it without using hard currency.

Wouldn't this kill donations?

Absolutely not! This is because the price for ranks would be over double what a rank seller would charge. Also, you would have to rank up one at a time, so prices in the table below are from the previous rank:
VIP: 1,000,000-1,500,000 Meebles
Premium: 1,500,000-2,000,000 Meebles
Exclusive: 2,000,000-2,500,000 Meebles
Elite: 4,000,000-5,000,000 Meebles
Supreme: 8,000,000-10,000,000 Meebles

Benefits

So, this would benefit the general server in several ways:
1. It bypasses the EULA without giving everyone everything
2. It gives players who cannot find a rank seller another option
3. Sets the maximum price for rank sellers, so no one gets seriously overcharged (Could be changed later if prices all go up)
4. Makes the server seem less "pay to win" to new players, and gives them a goal directly

Conclusion

I (personally) do not see any possible flaws within this idea that have not been addressed, so please point out any issues you might see. If you do not understand a particular section, ask a question! I will do my absolute best to answer it. Thank you for reading!

This breaks Eula. Also why would someone want to pay more for a rank that has less benefits.

I love the idea, but im sure it breaks eula because then richer people have an advantage of more meebles which is same as someone having spent more momey. Problem with eula is that sadly it , in kts essence destroy economy servers because no matter how much meebles u get u won't get an advantage over someone just joining.
This is the problem we face.

I think you have a misunderstanding of Eula. It has nothing to do with how many meebles you have but it affects ranks not giving an advantage to the game. Eula actually helped our Eco server by removing /fix which made many many items have less value than they should have.

EULA didn't remove kittycannon or recipe so its not every perk we like.

Also as for ranks purchase-able with meebles this would be destroyed as the server grows and the economy develops because there would be an overall increase in the amount of money and decrease in the value of money meaning anyone could afford the ranks. At the same time making the prices variable would defeat the purpose of having ranks purchaseable with meebles as there is no consistant cost and thus no one will buy in the hope that they could get a better deal later.

As for fix being re-added that would just give mojang another reason to come back and strip more perks away from ranks so I will pass.

How is the server going to make hard cash of this if people are buying ranks with meebles. Because me for example, I don't have a lot of money so I will always find a cheaper way whether that means it will take much longer I will still do the cheap way.

Plus all these "EULA BYPASS THREADS" or people trying to find ways around the eula just arn't that well thought out. Please read the EULA because a few things in here break it.

This does not break the EULA, as ranks could be purchased with both hard and soft currency. The idea is to allow ranks to keep their full perks, while also being EULA compliant. This takes ranks from being a "pay to get cool stuff at all" to "pay to get cool stuff faster." I know of several servers (not mentioning names due to anti-advertising rules) that have super heavy perks for donors, but because ranks can be earned without using hard currency, EULA hasn't been a problem for them.

Fair enough, but these perks do not affect gameplay in any way. To be honest, no one ever donated for Ultimate because they wanted a kitty cannon.

The price would not change frequently! Perhaps never, so long as rank selling prices remain the same. If the cost per $10 goes way over what it is now, it could simply be adjusted.

Mojang did not come because we had /fix, they came because we had /fix available to only people who paid hard currency.

Face it, no one is happy with losing so many perks, as they spent time and money to get them. I am trying to offer a solution that lets people use their ranks.

The server can still make money because it will be cheaper to find a rank seller who will pay hard currency. That is why the prices for these ranks is so much higher than what you would currently pay a rank seller. @fasehed Can you please tell me exactly what breaks the EULA?

Do this but don't give rankups in game with meebles, and it seems fair enough considering you can't get these perks anymore through ranks).

The reason I suggested making the ranks themselves purchasable over the individual perks is it gives every rank their perks back.
I always think it's funny people say /fix breaks the economy after it's gone. People rarely sell the stuff they /fix anyways. Before I had /fix, I always used iron picks because I could make them myself easily.

Denied. It ruins the point of buying ranks. It would also devalue what people payed for.
