The eco is important, but it's also important to keep customers happy.
Having a /fix sign is available in spawn is a great way to compensate players that immediately broke an item after simply moving it in their inventory. The mistake was not the players fault and there was no forewarning of the issue.
If allowing people access to a paid /fix sign for a week is truly going to break the economy then we would just have to decide the appropriate price of the sign to keep everything in balance.
+1 to any EULA complaint version of this idea!
