It isn't really the staff team's fault. Some people resigned, some people got demoted, but no so many people in that area were added.
Not many people can flip their schedules right now. A lot of people have exams or finals or something right now, and they just have school in general. Our school is pretty much peak afernoon/evening hours for your timezone.
Once summer comes I think the problem will be way easier solved, but it also can't hurt to have a more flexibly scheduled person on the team. Then again it's not like they're gonna force people to apply.
