There's always drama on the internet no matter where you go. Personally, I find his content amusing and fun to watch, as you can tell that he is obviously exaggerating almost everything he says. Furthermore, once you post something on the internet, it's stuck there forever. If you post a video on YouTube and are decently popular, it'll probably be downloaded before you delete it, as you can tell with that one video from Nicole Arbour 7 or so months ago. You can't physically see or hear the person in real life, amd you probably won't ever talk to them in person either, so it simply doesn't matter. Why would you care about a stranger's opinion of you when they might be halfway across the U.S.?
On the other hand, what happened with tommync2010 was a stroke of bad luck. During that incident, I'm pretty sure that Leafy didn't actually know that he had an illness, or else he wouldn't have made the video about it. Obviously it's still his fault for making the video in the first place, but he mentioned that he was going to do some research about the person before making a video about them. By doing so, it would reduce the likelihood of him roasting someone he wouldn't normally want to.
Honestly, I think people are just making a big deal about stuff that doesn't need to be stirred up. A large amount of this drama is spread out because of the fans and/or channels such as Keemstar, who purposely spread word about other channels, which I feel like is just unnecessary.
