Meep Purge

This wouldn't really affect me at the moment but here is the thing. What if a new player happens to join the day a purge is happening... this ought to kill their opinion of the server and drive away a potential donor. Another thing is that this would not be a good thing because a fair amount of players hate pvp and don't like fighting in minecraft so this would turn them off too. These are just two thoughts but I do not care if the purge is implemented or not.

an alpha town i used to be in had monthly purges, it was great. but -1 to a server wide thing

-1 for two reasons:
1. Coming from someone who would personally love sneaking into noobs' homes and taking everything they own for my own monetary gain, Meepcraft just isn't the server to do it on, an idea like this isn't what the server is built on. People come on for a fun towny experience not prepping to not die at the hands of a crew of god armored people.
2. You said something about how normal spawn and town spawns (I assume the one town [Home] block) would be protected. The problem with that is that people would just camp at spawn and town spawns, negating the purpose of making them no-pvp.

These are just my opinions but after a bit of thinking, that's why I don't think that would be a good idea.

Tb to when the purge came out and things were on the fritz in the server so people were greifing spawn. Too many purge jokes. People actually were up for it back then

Okay personally I love the idea but it will never work for the server
