Hello Meepcraft, mods, and etc...
I would like to bring a new concept to Meepcraft. "Freedom of Speech" in which as we can say what we want in global as long as it does not harass people, tell people to commit self harm, tell people to hurt other people, excessive swearing, etc... As I am German I was recently surprised to have been banned for 12 hours for literally saying the sentence "More like a milf" in global, without a warning. I said it and literally 10 seconds later I was banned. I find this to be unacceptable. I believe that I said nothing wrong. I have seen multiple people receive warnings, being kicked, and or banned for saying what they believe in. We are not vegetables my dear tech. We would like to enjoy our time on Meepcraft just as you would, I do not see how Freedom of Speech would stop players from having a good experience on Meepcraft. I will give an example. Another player and I would frequently say "Kys" to one another as a joke. I know suicide is no joke and must be fixed, but I find that mods like Summrs who will ban for saying "I got my first kys today" (Kys is Danish for Kiss) is completely outrageous. I understand that this is a very extreme example but it needs to be addressed among the Moderators who seemingly enjoy banning people. I'd say part of the reason in the last 4 years we've gone from 900 players a day to 100 is the complete onslaught by the Moderators. Everyone is so worried about being banned perm nowadays they just take their money and join on a more lenient server. So I have essentially just ranted, I am calling for Freedom of Speech, or since its April, a spring cleaning of the Mods. Either or, thank you for your time.
