the /tr fee suggestion was a bad idea I mean when citizens are advertising their pwarp how much money will that take to advertise the pwarp I mean it will add up fast to a few thousand meebles when the citizen is trying to earn money to maybe buy a rank isn't that creating a issue i think citizens will quit because of this not to mention I'm speaking from their point because I am a citizen so now I will probably stop advertising my town because it will fall because I will take money out to advertise it so small towns get ruined bigger towns will still prosper due to this but all I'm saying is meepcraft is next gonna charge for /g talking I mean everything on meepcraft is getting people charges I feel like this will greatly affect the server by /the fees this is all I have to say t

I agree with not having a fee, since having one would be a lot tougher. Back then shout costed money for citizens, but that was changed due to obvious reasons. Not having a fine for citizens should apply also to tr.

Exactly, maybe if you have 1k+ you should get a 200 fee. Because then cits with 5mil (@twomoo1119 ) can't abuse /tr.

First off, Luke, you seriously need an editor, do you even know what proper grammar is?

I'm on the fence about this idea still. I think a better solution to this would be allowing a certain number of /tr ads, then it begins charging you. The number of times it is free, I won't speculate about. But this would allow any rank to advertise fairly, and get new players a start.

I understand your concern but the fee would be very low (like 100 meebles or so) and it simulates real-life advertising. if it were implemented then as Fuzzlr stated in that thread, we would likely take out /ttoggle, so you can guarantee that everyone sees your message (and no, it wouldn't be terribly spammy because of the fee)

If it forces the whole server to see the message it should be more than 100 meebles.

I agree - I'm not sure on the details yet, it's just an idea in the sky for now. Perhaps a regular fee if you say something to much (like in global) would better suit this, then we wouldn't take out /ttoggle

I heard some talk about me, I actually only have $368 @LIAHKIM55 I put most of my money in town, this is a huge loophole in the system for mayors who use /tr the most but I would agree with @CasualNuker on this.

Exactly, maybe if you have 1k+ you should get a 200 fee. Because then cits with 5mil (@twomoo1119 ) can't abuse /tr.

I don't think removing /ttoggle is a good idea because people would still spam /tr (like /g) and it would get even more annoying, also, some people (me) have a hard time paying attention to a ton of chat thingys so i always do /gtoggle and /ttoggle whenever i am doing something with people in local. but it would be pretty annoying having to listen to /tr

thats really stupid. servers should be fun without ranks, ranks should be used to show your love for the server and engross yourself further into the game. The best thing about meep is its community, and having to rank up to connect with the community is pretty dumb, because many players can't afford to or there 8 and there parents won't let them

Oh no I agree that ranks are fine @WeAreNumberUno , but they are so important(Idk the word) that a cit can't even get popular, that's the main reason

hmm, i would argue that all the cits that care enough about the server (you are the clear exeption) make it there goal to get a rank. so there are no popular cits, beacuse all the popular cits tend to spend time on the server and they end up getting ranks. Now, granted, i haven't been a cit in a long time.You however, for whatever reason, didn't buy a rank and chose to put the money back into the town and, ultimately, a nation. i think that is great because it means that the town is really good and brings happyness to a ton of people, as opposed to a rank. Which would only bring happyness to a one a few people.
