VShop ... Get rid of it. (don't be mad)

Yes the VSHOP is convenient however I feel it takes too much away from the player to player experience and economy. If there were no VSHOP then players would have to actually build their shops and sell stuff and promote 2 things...a better economy and better building skills.
I know a lot of people would be unhappy from the start but I'm sure they could find a /pwarp to help them by.

Places like /pwarp would be able to strive instead of starving. We pay a high cost per day to maintain the pwarps and yet I feel like were being double crossed by the VSHOP.

Good point though, but vshop is one of the things that makes Meep unique. It actually convinced me to stay. Before the previous removal of vshop, there were barely and shops and everyone was fine with it.

I honestly don't see a good reason why it should be removed, especially since the cons outweigh the pros.

Having chest shops and only chest shops was amazing.
IMO it should be the only transaction. it was fun, seeing everyone flock to chest shops all the time.

Absolutely not, before it was reimplemented people were whining about it not being there 24/7. We'll be back to that in a few weeks if the vshop is removed.

Tried it, it's like communism. While a good idea in theory, it doesn't work in practice.

how about, instead of an instant purchase, maybe make it look more realistic by having a kind of 'shipping' system so you have to wait like 5 minutes before the item is delivered?

The issue with this is kind of like a wild spawn, etc. You're just putting in steps between what a player wants to do, and then doing it. People dislike that. If the system exists, it should be efficient.

Honestly, all this would do is screw over new and more causal players even more. It is much better for the health of the server to have an economy system that everyone can use and profit from rather than just the richer players that can afford pwarps and can supply enough resources to profit from them.

You don't lose money when you sell in vshop unless you put an item up for some amount that's dumb and no one would ever buy.
It's a 5% tax, man. 5%. You know what you earn? 95%.

Nope Nope Nope Nope and NO! Half the things on Vshop cannot be found anywhere else and if anyone is going to complain about tax, It's only 5% not all of your life savings, it's a very low tax, and it helps people gain money and buy things you wouldn't typically find in other shops. -1

Yes, like "Timmy" in Jwarian's story, I decided to make a shop and become rich, I made a great pwarp, /pwarp marsh, payed someone to advertise it, and no one came. Weeks go by and I find my massive prism arise tower for sale for 999,999$ and all my money gone. Someone had found the pwarp, and took advantage of how I bought gold for 200$, and filled the chest. I was horribly frustrated. Then mnmnmn helped me get the plot back, and I started my building company, became town assistant and the rank VIP from Jwarian, and ever since I have been frustrated about those first weeks in meep. Kill vshop, and you may as well kill every citizen.

That is very low tax, where I live it's a 15% tax on purchases (not snacks though oddly)

This is very true, when going through chests in raids, etc. I put a lot of random items onto the vshop which I generally wouldn't make a chest shop for.

As there are more positives to keeping vshop then removing it this will be denied.
