Introduction: Hi, I am JamezMeep or James, you may know me Jamez564. I am from the UK in Yorkshire and I like to joke around with friend or generally have a fun time. I have been on Meep for along time with which I have been staff before.
In my spare time, I like to build computers and playing sandbox games which include Cities Skylines, RCT2, Simcity and (for some reason) Space Engineers. This means I can have a creative mind when I put my mind to it.
Why should you be Helper? Well, this is never an easy thing to talk about because others want different specialties in staff members and no two staff members are the same. I will try my best to explain the main features I will bring to the table.
To start with, I have been previously staff on Meep which at the time was a bit out of my comfort zone (first time for everything right?) and staff on many other servers. I have owned a server and managed the plugins. Another server, I helped bring the server up to a high player count (around 600-700) and helped control the players as a Mod with OP. Other servers I have sorted out plugins for and helped others with commands. With this, I could bring unique and innovative suggestions to the table and as well help out other people with commands and give suggestions at what to do in a certain situation. For an example (not the best), if someone is being immature and swearing in chat, I would give them a warning and ask for them to stop and then if they don't, they will be issued a kick. If they then proceed to do that again, I will issue a temp ban of around 1 day for them to think about what they have done. If they then come on to do it a third time, I will get a higher member of staff to permanently ban the player as they obviously have bad intentions on the server.
With being staff on other servers, I have been staff on other servers, I have been in situations (as explained earlier) and know what to do. Though on this server I know the ban and kick policies are different than other servers so I need to learn those again.
What are your weaknesses? Well, weaknesses are always, well weaknesses and they are never good but I believe that the weaknesses I have can always be worked on.
First off, I like to joke around a lot. This can be a weakness if it gets out of hand too much. For example, the stolen joke or the silly joke. It is always there when I join a chat channel on teamspeak and I think that people may always know me by that and not important things.
My knowledge of Meep ban and kick policies. As in what to do when someone does something (what to issue). I can learn this over time though.
This one is ironic. I am always learning this though. Towny commands. I am not 100% on towny commands which I find ironic as I have been on the server for 3 and a half years and we are a towny servers. I will go and learn the commands.
Activity. Though I do not help in chat as often as I should, or play as much as I should, I think that if I get helper, that will inspire me (like last time) to play more and help more in chat. It is the feeling that when you are not helper, you aren't really significant and people will overlook your comments but when you are helper, that is your job. I think that it will give me something more to do and increase my time on the server.
Now, I do think that all of you can give some more weaknesses - feel free to comment about them, I will not reply to all of the messages but do take into account that I will try to improve on them and I will read all the comments.
