CS:GO New Ranking System

Hi, I have a couple of you on steam already. As some of you may know, I play a lot of csgo. My rank in I wanna say mid-June was Legendary Eagle Master. I like to consider myself as a skilled player. After a hiatus, mainly because of my computer breaking. I have returned. To the scrubbiest rank of all: Gold Nova I.

Yet, I found out that there is a new ranking system and gold novas are actually about MG's now. So I'm wondering, what was your old rank and what is your new rank?

You work hard to get out of the toxic ranks and into something were the game becomes bearable, for them to release an update setting you back to toxicity again. I spent 200 hours getting from MG1 to Supreme, to get sent all the way back again. Yay for smurfs and derankers, I wont be playing that game anymore.[/FONT]

Airzos said it perfectly; it's trash. I went from MG1 to freaking Silver Elite. How? On almost every time I ranked down I won maybe 6-7 and carried most of them. Then when I lost 1 game I deranked. Every time I lost a game I deranked. And then it stopped at Silver elite.
I put in hundreds of hours in this game and worked hard for my rank and they pull this sht.
Anyway, I've quit and moved on to Rocket League now.

Yeah its really bad, I'm only nova 3 (I started playing around time of deranking) and I saw a global elite/supreme derank to a nova 4 which is stupid.

I'm excited for the new operation though :3

Dude idk what you think competitive is, but it's not a fun fairyland. You've gotta play casual (the thing you call boring) a few times before every competitve match to warm up, if you want to start ranking up.
And casual is the fun thing. Every time you get an MVP you just play the John Cena song over your mic :D

So yeah you have it mixed up. Casual is the fun fairyland where everyone spams cyka blyat over the chat and plays stupid songs on their mics. Competitive is where all the pissed off russians are.

I never really cared about my rank. I was a Gold Nova 2, nothing special. I have a competitive side, but it's really rare when it happens. You really don't want to see my competitive side >..>
