"It's" is a contraction of "it is," and is meant to be used as a subject/verb conjunction. For example, "It's on lunch hour!" would be the correct usage of "it's."
"Its" is an adjective, and therefore should be used to indicate possession of the noun or pronoun it describes (eg. "Its lunch break is almost over).
