i dont wanna have to msg all the staff about something go on in ebon that we needa fix, and i dont want our residents stressing
make a command to fix that please, lile /stca or /stcb or /stc (s for staff)
also, if theres something i need town staff to do, or if anyone else does, then we should make almost like a t board for staff, except assistants, co-mayors, and mayors can use it, and allow up to 3 staff town boards at a time, and a limit of 7 days before there board is put down, and someone else can make one
maybe make a filter for this command. also, the command may look like this, tho i have NO coding experience at all so bare with me
/st (or stafft) board set [message] [amount of days] [assistants, co-mayor, mayor, or all] or something

Not everyone has social media and some of our players are too young that their parents wouldn't allow it.
Also, perhaps instead of having to use a different site, meepcraft could add an instant messaging program to the forums?

It doesn't exactly explain what the commands do

to put ti shortly, let town staff discuss problems without residents seeing it

/gtoggle /trtoggle are things, why not make that a thing for all chats if you want to reduce chat

I mean in that case, having a towny staff chat won't really help; Because what you discuss about town is crucial, sometimes you need it saved somewhere to go look for it when you need. I hardly recommend you guys to get a proper chat client. As @GingerManOWNS said:

at least one of these two, as it's not hard to create a skype/slack account, all you need is a mail adress and I assume y'all have one since you have a mc account, and secondo you don't really need to download the apps as either skype or slack are available and usable through your web browser.

Even though it's still limited cuz you won't be able to check your data/conversations history every single time you need to.

I mean, Minecraft is a cool game, Towny is a great plugin, Meepcraft is an amazing server, still all this happens in a game. I largely prefer using chat client when it comes to these kind of stuffs. Yet it's a good suggestion but I don't really see it as the perfect solution.

As a "young" child my parents dont let me use things like that. i was lucky to get minecraft.

Even though a group chat is probably the best way to communicate, having something along the lines of this would help some players who can't use those services. It's easier to do it in game compared to a completely different service (as many of you suggested)
