I read that, but I'm not exactly sure how it would waste time. I don't have too much knowledge about code (I'm genuinely curious) but would implementing the new code over the old code be at all feasible?

I'm with you, I don't know how it would waste time either. All you would really have to do is remove the nerf on slime blocks which shouldn't affect the towny data itself (don't take my word for that, i'm not to sabby with code either)
