Just Yesterday, I found out the Powerball here in Missouri (im sure its in most, if not all of the other states as well) was at $900 Million. Now it's 1.3 Billion ($806 Mil up front/Cash Value). However, the are non-jackpot prizes you can win, $157,080,965 was won yesterday.
Why is it so high?
Just thought is would explain, i'm pretty sure everyone knows this.
Obviously, the Powerball take the gambler's Money, and adds at least half (depends on state) the the Prize.
2.With the odds being 1 in 292 Million, no one has won, yet.
