Well I was wondering if like other servers maybe you could add spectator mode in HG and CTF so you can watch friends battle and give them tips.

+/- I'm looking at this only for HG
It would be amusing to spectate HG games, but a majority of them are pretty short as there are games varying from 1v1's to like 6 people in a game, so it wouldn't really be necessary.
I'm all for a toggle option though, where we can toggle whether or not we would want to spectate a game. This way neither side is restricted to only one way of doing things.
For giving tips, most of the time you can fight them, defeat them, and them give them tips based on their skill and way of fighting. Not really sure if a spectator mode is then so necessary.

I think this would be cool for Hunger Games, but not CTF because the spectator could give information about what the other team is doing. We used to have it in Hunger Games and it was pretty cool (even though the games are rather short)! +1 for that. And if you don't want to spectate you can type /leave or /spawn to get out.

If you spectate in hg you can msg your team where he's hiding. Or something of the matter. It can be exploited either way.

So in other Hunger Games they have the exact same thing, and why would it matter? You already got a compass that tells you where the player is.

I would imagine that if a spectate option were implemented, that there would be some way for either:
A) The spectator being restricted from sending messages to players in minigame, or
B) Preventing the minigame player from receiving messages from players not in the game.

If this were possible, it sounds like a solid idea.

Totally agree with June. HG would be cool and it wouldn't matter if they give tactical information because we have a tracker in our inventory.

Denied, there isn't any real need for this and it can be easily abused.
