I don't know why but it gets on my nerves when someone mentions anything alcohol-related.This is suppposed to be kid-friendly. But alcohol is 21+ only so remove it from global please.

If you believe that mentioning alcoholic drinks on a minecraft server has bad effects on people, you'll have a hard time in life.

The staff is supposed to moderate such things, but you can't moderate the chat, if you don't have anyone online to do so.
If you feel that uncomfortable with it, make a screenshot and report the said people, otherwise just stay away from the internet in general.

Not trying to be rude, but I will be blunt. This isn't a valid reason to ban any type of discussion from shout. There's a lot of things I don't like discussed, for example, the excessive and spammy Ebola chats from when I first joined a year ago, but there wasn't any valid reason for staff to ban it aside from when things got too heated or inappropriate. As for alcohol, in some parts of the world it's even legal at 14-16 years of age and that is a good majority of the servers' population. This is just my 2 cents.

Dear me.....you are complaining about alcohol on a server that fights with swords, beheads people and on the odd occasion drops anvils on people's heads.

If you are effected what do you do in your spare time not watch tv? Go to shops blindfolded?
Alcohol is everywhere. Even in church you drink red wine as a representation of Christ's blood.

I'm the same as you. Just try not to mind them. People do what they do and you can't really change that. Just try to do something else or try changing the subject.

Drinking under the age of 21 may be illegal in the U.S, but this is the internet. People can come on Meepcraft from literally anywhere (Europe, Australia, Canada...), which means that the view of alcohol is different from person to person.

Chill, I understand that just mentioning the word makes you nervous, but hey, it's the internet. I honestly don't care if someone mentions the name of alcohol or drugs.
PS: It's also medicine. It's everywhere.

Not even in all places.
I can drink as long as it is given to me by my parents, and I am supervised. A server cannot give it to me with my parent's permission, but my dad can buy it and give it to me.
Of course I can't drive with ANY alcohol in my blood legally until I'm 21, but it's not a good idea in the first place.

Plus no one gives a damn if you're drunk at home and supervised.
