Bug: Exponential Taxes?

Summary of Bug: I bought a thousand stone at .5 meebs a pop. Paid ≈15k in taxes. Tried with one cobble, paid 1.03 for a 1 meeble cobble block, as it should be. Tried again with 1000, this time at 1 apiece, and it cost me ≈30k. Tried with 4 at 1 meeble, cost me 4.44 meebles, 11% in tax. What is the deal? If nothing else, can I have my meebles back?
