If someone advertises, I sometimes say something about it. Like you forgot to add the pwarp or you made a typo.

What's stopping you from just telling them in /tell?
If they're smart they'll wait the 20 seconds or even 1 minute and fix it. Even so, there are enough messages already causing the chat bar to scroll at breakneck speeds. To be able to calm it down even a little would be a god-send.
