Hello meep, recently i got promoted from co mayor to mayor in my town (twilight). Many people lose their towns bec they dont know what to do because the truth is that it is really different being mayor and being co mayor. You now have to check a lot if the town has enough money and the daily upkeep.
What I did
First of all, I got really exited and started jumping around. Then,I changed the rules a little, made them my way. I also added new rules and signs in the spawn. After that I changed the town board (/t set board) I told the town that there was a new ruler. I claimed an outpost and warned the town that I would make the town taxes higher to keep it existing with its new outpost.
What to do
Imagine all you can do and how to do it. You wanna make the best town possible.
