I open this suggestion with the acknowledgement that I have a vested interest (I'm doing quite well at /jobs miner).
To encourage competition in /jobs, I propose a "portable" rank for each /job - along the lines of [Arch], or other humorous sobriquets we have enjoyed in the past, which is automatically awarded to the person on top of each /jobs list. i.e. [Builder], [Digger], [Farmer], [Fisher], [Hunter], [Miner] and [Woodcutter]. I am unsure of the mechanics of the automatic passing of this title as different people take pole position but I cannot imagine it is particularly tricky. It may also impact on the [Arch] [SuperArch] people, as they may be the top Builders.
At any rate, I put this up for consideration - it gives everyday players a shot at changing titles and competing to keep them.
