As you guys know, slimeblocks were disabled due to the fact that it can be used as a griefing machine. For those of you who hasn't seen one, here's an example:

You guys are probably wondering now why I want slimeblocks to be available once more. Slimeblocks will greatly enhance redstone machines and use less materials. This is quite important for Skyblock players due to the fact that we are unable to get resources easily. Also, considering you guys wanted Skyblock to be more of a vanilla game style, why not enable slimeblocks? Is it because of the griefing issues? No worries about that.
There are plugins out there which prevents piston movements once they reached the player's territorial boundary. This means that even if players attempt to use this to intentionally grief people, it will not work.
Here is an example of a plugin that prevents piston movements: http://dev.bukkit.org/bukkit-plugins/bukkitprotect/
- Pistons cannot pull or push blocks into protections unless the owner of the protection it comes from can build in the protection
As you guys can see here, it is possible to enable slimeblocks in every single world not just Skyblock if a similar plugin just like towny where people are able to turn on/off permissions for build/destroy/etc. This
may result into more players playing skyblock or possibly coming in due to the fact that we will be able to use slimeblocks. Just imagine what kind of machine or farms we can make if this will be enabled.
