My Mayor of my town has been currently banned and his appeal denied . It has been 2 weeks and i am the next ranked player in the town. Can i have the town ?

I'm pretty damn sure this is true
when a player is permed ban, he's wiped (100% true unless appeal was accepted)
his plots are wiped and the town automatically goes to another member of the town
how it chooses a new mayor Idk, but there you go
