Well... Even though he used horrible examples he has a decent point. I too agree that making more mini games and more stuff adds more on the plate. Though on the other hand people tend to now not like towny based servers so broading the amount of stuff to do is a nice thing.
Though I would like to see a bit more attention on towny(as I spend all my time there,) I understand it's not always the best idea for meep. People are more into 10 minute games than a over time struggle(towny.)
In addition to this I rather have more players, if that means towny is a bit neglected. Techs do great work on the server, far more intelligent that me and no offense probably you. Trust the plan for the server, it hopefully bring much needed revenue for us so eventually we can work at towny ;).
