I feel that there should be a section on the forums where you have to verify your age in order to be able to view it. Now I'm not saying there should be pornography allowed on this section or anything like that, just a tiny little section on the forums where people are free to maybe swear and just have a little more freedom and talk about topics that are for a more mature audience.

That's all, just a little suggestion.

This is a kids server are you kidding me?

What in the world prevents a kid from going and saying 18+ and seeing foul language and other types of things. Minecraft in general is targeting an audience from 8-18 years of age (in general, you can be older to play don't get me wrong. Just not as many people.)

You people are missing the point. I'm suggesting a SECTION of the forums, not the whole website being 18+. I also suggested that it requires age verification meaning that it is forewarned that the section contains profanity and shouldn't be viewed by an audience under 18. If that causes any problems with the kids parents then the parent will see that the kid went into the section of the forums labeled "18+" and therefore the website isn't liable for the kid's actions whatsoever.

Also, you people act like this would be the only exposure that kids would ever have in their life to vulgar language. Everyday kids are exposed to bad language in television, movies, other video games, for crying out loud if they're on minecraft, chances are they are using the internet to go on other sites where profanity is easily exposed. So therefore, I don't see the problem with having an age-verified section of the forums made for people who are "18+"

I do not see how this would improve the community in any way, especially for the kids who decide to bypass the filter and go in out of curiousity.

You do not need this.
You want Inappropriate content?? Google it.
