Here is my complete list of reasons why I think that /fix should be brought back to skyblock.
1. Items that were already /fixed are now useless.
after /fix was removed, all tools that had /fix used on them broke on elite+ players, and now they're unusable. I see how this could make it more "fair," but to have all donator tools break isn't the way for that to be fulfilled. I realize that it might have been unintentional, but it still happened either way, and is most likely irreversible.
2. Why does skyblock need to be fair?
Some people say that skyblock should be fair for every player, and the "overpowered" donator commands should be left for the towny world. I disagree, when you donate you assume that a majority (if not, all) of these commands are allowed on any part of the meep network. Removing donator commands is taking away yet another reason why we donated, and overall making the experience worse for elite+ players on the server, ESPECIALLY for the ones that spend a majority of their time on skyblock. Please keep in mind, actual people spend 80 USD for a simple perk as /fix, and to have that taken away from skyblock is unfair for us elite+ players, so, in the end, you're just making the skyblock unfair for donors, the people that put money into the server.
3. What advantage do donors actually get?
So yes, you can fix your tools anytime you want, but what does this get for you? It allows you to do more work, allowing you to build more farms and grinders, allowing you to get achievements faster, allowing you to overall get your island to a higher level than non-donors. But, what real advantage does this give to a donator? If you're concerned with the economy, without lots of advertising for a shop, or making it into the top 10, your shop will get next to no use. Advertising a shop takes work, and getting your island to the top 10 takes much more work than that, despite how many people, whatever rank, on your island. Additionally, before the restart, evil_eyes269 owned the top island, and he didn't have a rank. Another high ranking player, HaaVeeAir still wasn't a donator, and he was #3(?) on the old leaderboard for quite some time. This shows that:
1. Being a donator doesn't give you any significant perks that allow you to instantly be ahead of any non-donator.
2. Hard work is truly the strongest factor in having a high-ranking island.
4. Ruining meep skyblock.
Whenever I'm on skyblock (which isn't a small amount of time,) it takes a miracle to reach more than 10 players on the server at one time. On average, a little less than half-25% of these players are elite+ donators. Having this chunk of players stop playing skyblock will definitely not benefit the server, make a large dent in the skyblock "economy" (there isn't really one b/c there isn't anything to base the prices on, thanks sb shop,) and overall make it more difficult for non/lower level donors to acquire items, and with next to nobody to enjoy the experience with, the server will kind of die/fade away. We need players that play on the server often to keep it a valid & active server, not a few more newer players to take their places, just to stop playing after a few days. Additionally, even glazing over the replies in the comments gives you the feeling that people aren't too happy about this change, and these people are mainly elite+, reinforcing my statement of "a large chunk of the community will either stop playing or be very salty about it."
EDIT: Reinforcing the idea of both donors leaving and the economy being damaged:
+1 Add it back.
/fix doesn't remove the challenge, it just makes things less tedious. There is a reason why I don't go to the wild and collect wood by chopping it down with a stone axe. This is the same thing.
As a result of the removal of /fix, I've closed my SB shop. Hosting a shop that supplied my fellow skyblock players with affordable goods was something I considered fun. Now I cannot afford to waste my good tools, and trying to do it with cheaper tools just takes too much time.

5. The economyYes, I went over this briefly in reasons 3 and 4, but I think it needs its own section. Players can make a decent amount of money off of selling skyblock items, but this won't make you nearly as wealthy as the top ranking players (when this thread was created.)
BALTOP(Players only)
1. Way_way22: Never seen on skyblock.
2. Lizzer: Never seen on skyblock.
3. lightspeedtitan: Never seen on skyblock.
4. shains: Never seen on skyblock.
5. MajikTom: Never seen on skyblock.
6. KlutchDecals: Never seen on skyblock.
7. bass_flow: Might have played in the old skyblock, but never seen in the current one.
8. bbycakes2012: Never seen on skyblock.
9. dennywhite: Never seen on skyblock.
10. BigDaddyJoseph: Seen every so often on skyblock, BUT is a co-mayor in shainville, one of the largest towns in meep.
and, let's skip down on the player list to where an active skyblock player is...
26. superthomas12: plays very often, actually was the creator of this thread.
let's keep going...
37. jmelara: seen every so often, enough to be considered "active." (then again, is more active in towny, and minigame servers, but still a notable player to put here.)
67. Hedva: Part of the #1 island, as well as a pretty active player.
The point i'm trying to make is that a few more skyblock commands aren't going to get an elite+ player to the #1 spot on baltop. These perks make skyblock only slightly easier, and ultimately more fun for the player.
6. Arguments with the points stated.
Instead of arguing with people, and just boosting the thread a whole bunch (that's kind of what's been happening,) I'll just put my arguments here.
1. Skyblock should be a challenge.
Some people don't really want the "challenge." if YOU want, YOU can start on the island that's made for expert players, or YOU can choose not to use donator commands. For the people who don't want this, I think they should be allowed to use these commands.
2. It's unfair for lower-level/non donators.
As I said in the thread, it's perks that allow people to have more fun, and although they can be seen as "overpowered," people paid for these perks, as well as assumed that these perks would last forever, and not be taken away because a few people thought it was unfair to lower/non donor players.
7. Donor commands STILL influence Skyblock.
(Credit to Interdesirename)
The funny thing is, the goal of removing the donator commands was to make Skyblock more of a fair challenge for all. The only problem is, you can buy your way to the top, instead of actually working for the items yourself. Now, who are the people that can get loads of money for doing nothing? Donators. And where can they make this money? Towny. And what commands are allowed in Towny? DONATOR COMMANDS. So, indirectly, the donator commands still make Skyblock unfair, no matter what. So, looking at it from this angle, the economy in Skyblock could actually work slightly better than before, if there was a large enough playerbase for this. Sadly there isn't, rendering that entire single reason useless.
TL;DR Section.
1. All tools for Skyblock are now useless for elite+ players = unfair.
2-3. Donating isn't going to make your automagically better than the next non-donator.
4. Lots of active people get mad = less players on the server = not a benefit.
5. Skyblock won't be your main source of money if you want to be rich, donator or not.
6. My (Expanding) list of replies to opinions/replies in this thread.
7. Towny earnings can allow you to buy items, indirectly making Skyblock "unfair."
Even shorter TL;DR Section.
/fix would make skyblock better if it were back in skyblock.
