Remove Squire From Kitpvp

The Squire Kit is THE MOST ANNOYING THING IN THE WORLD. The fire. THE FIRE. It's so overpowered.
Also, the squire kit makes no sense. A squire is "a young nobleman acting as an attendant to a knight before becoming a knight himself."
I'm pretty sure that a squire wouldn't have a flaming sword.

Anyways, I probably sound like a butthurt noob but I really don't think that the squire is a 'fair' kit in kitpvp.
So here's my idea for a replacement. It still has fire.

The Pyro

Weapons: Flint and Steel(x3, you can use these like normal), Pocket Knife(stone sword), Flamethrower(blaze rod with fire aspect I and knockback I)
Helmet: black leather(prot I fire prot II)
Chestplate: black leather(prot II fire prot II)
Leggings: black leather(fire prot II)
Boots: black leather(fire prot I)
Other: splash fire resistance(x3 lasts for 2 min), 2 soup

It can be annoying but the armor is so low it can be 1 shot with the marksman bow. So its kind of an attack melee kit, made for those who get more hits on the enemy then the enemy gets on them, my favorite kit :beaver:

So you think by putting in a "weapon" that allows players to put fire everywhere you walk and causing lag is going to be less annoying?

-1, the Squire kit has low armor, so you can easily just stay out of range by shooting arrows, or attack from behind and kill them before they set you on fire.

I personally don't see the Squire as a problem, the fire isn't that bad, and it's one the only weapons that gives fire on contact. I like it the way it is right now, and to me, it seems like one of the more balanced kits.

I definitely see your point, but the fact that @Bluapol brought up was a very good one. Squire takes quite a bit of skill to use efficiently. Along with that, it can be taken down by many other kits. You just have to be good at pvp. I am going to -1 this.

All kits are being redone with 1.9 so I am going to deny this but please feel free to give suggestions once that occurs.
