I played on an FTB server awhile back and they had an interesting setup for chat colors. They had local chat colored yellow, town chat light blue, and global chat standard. They also had a help chat (which was something like /hc [msg]) which was dark blue which allowed players to ask questions.
Mods, staff members, and high-end donors also had their own standard colors. What do you guys think? Is this a good idea?

While this is a good idea, Ultimate and Supreme have a chat color, which they donate for. Implementing this would get rid of those perks, making Supreme and Ultimate less valuable as ranks.
Also, that is why there is /help and /modreq. /modreq is to contact with a staff member and /help is automated help.
There is no need for this.
