Access to donator Shop

I can understand why access to the shops for different ranks is restricted in order to stop lower ranks purchasing items that come with the perks of donating.

However this also means the lower ranks don't know what's available and so the server is missing out on free marketing. Being able to buy the right type of spawner might be the reason someone decides to buy a rank.

I would like to suggest allowing access while still restricting the ability to buy. Similar to how ranks under elite cant put spawners in their inventory or how /fix items default to 1 hit point when in the wrong hands.

This suggestion is based on an assumption that the change is simple to implement given the functionality already exists. Obviously this assumption may be wrong.

+1 If this can't be added then at least make sure theres a way to know what's in the higher shops.

Omfg I was just thinking about posting this, Plus one if all players can go in to the shops but not buy anything / Maybe buy it at a way higher price?

Your are -1 a post whilst ignoring the stated reason for the suggestion. The main reason is that the sever is missing an opportunity to increase donations. Some or all of the donations get reinvested in new games, servers, tech's who fix existing bugs, etc. Stick with the -1 if improvements don't appeal to you. Having to ask what's available misses the opportunity for an impulse purchase of a rank. Being able to see the item up close also encourages an impulse purchase.

My suggestion is not just about being able to see the items but there cannot be any harm in being able to see them.

For example as an Elite ,I cant tell from a distance what type of spawners there are in the higher ranked shops and that's just 1 item. I shouldn't have to waste staff time asking the question. How many questions might a citizen have given their limited access ? I would of thought the amount of staff time spent in responding is significantly more than adding restricted purchases into the code. However that decision is not for you or me but the coders themselves

So long as shops have stayed the same for the past three months, theres pig in supreme shop and rabbit in uly.
You don't have to ask staff, ask a player of that rank. When I was unbanned I had the shop's content pretty much memorized.

Dont need to code anything, could be as simple as a sign outside the sector of the donor shop or even a post on the forums.

Ill put it simply- By allowing access to see whats available there should be more rank sales because the rank buyers can see more benefits.

A bonus to this but not the reason for making the suggestion is that there will be no need to ask anybody whats available which will also free up staff time on modreq's. It is not possible to do what you have suggested as some people will direct the question to staff via a modreq.

Misreading and voting down suggestions which ignore the reason for suggestion does not support the suggestion process, idea it damages the process by discouraging people from making suggestions. That cannot help your chances of getting unbanned.

I'm voting this down, because I think it's a waste of time and will cause more problems than it solves. Ask an ult what's in the ult shop, people did it to me all the time, or ask in shout. You can already see all but 2, maybe 4 don't remember, items in the shop.

Edit:not even all the staff members can see. Staff still can't go in uly shops unless their ult.

It appears you are looking for an argument as twice I have politely posted you the reason behind the suggestion yet you continue to ignore this. I even underlined the point you continue to make as not the reason for the suggestion. I have also stated how ignoring the reason behind the suggestion is not constructive or supportive of the suggestion system yet you continue to persist.

I suggest you read the posts properly as they also answer exactly why it doesn't help you chances of being unbanned. You are also showing an inability to understand written statements which means you wont be able to understand written rules or written messages from staff.

I welcome people voting down my suggestions for valid reasons but not for reasons that I have specifically stated as not the reason for the suggestion.
