Bug: Can't local or global chat. IGN: LeahLove Date of Bug: 06/30/2015-Present. Summary of Bug: I am able to /msg anyone but I am unable to chat aloud with anyone on any mini-game... Any suggestions? I have tried re-logging many times with no avail. Evidence of Bug: Additional information:

If this is on Infected, that game is currently broken and is very slow right now. So it may not be able to pick up what you type in global. If its on other mini games.... I don't know what the issue is.

This is also happening to one of my town residents puppylover3882, she has to msg me everything because she can't global or local chat, this has been happening for the past 4-5 days.

Edit: she can only /msg and global chat (not local)

Are you using a command such as /g or /l, or are you just typing in chat? If it's the latter, go into your chat settings and see if the top left option says 'Chat:Commands Only'. If it does, click it twice until it says 'Chat:Shown'.

Ask your resident to do the process I mentioned above. She most likely accidentally turned it to commands only.

If you're still experiencing this issue after you do the steps chaos described, I'd contact mojang.

This may be due to your chat settings being screwed up. Try messing around with your chat setting and see if it helps.
