Stock Dividends

I saw that you could buy stocks so in order to be a smart investor I did some research into the stock market and saw that there were something called "Dividends" (Information on "Dividends" is here: http://money.cnn.com/retirement/guide/investing_stocks.moneymag/index3.htm?iid=EL ) Could the plugin have dividends be payed out to shareholders of the stock? Or is that just not possible?

I'm actually pretty sure this isn't possible due to some technical issues we'd run into on calculating dividends for thousands of companies, etc. The reason the stocks we have are there is because we get the already-calculated data from a source, and I don't think dividend data is really public, but I could be wrong on that.

+1 from me, long term buyers will get some profit out of this which is pretty helpful.

I'm pretty sure you could link the source up in a new eclipse file of some sort and pay the % the dividend is. Correct me if I'm wrong. Kinda new to this coding stuff
