What is the stock market?
The stock market is a place where players can buy or sell real stock in the form of Stock Notes. Each Stock Note is equivalent to one share of a real life stock. Players can buy or sell these notes for Meebles. The prices of each stock on MeepCraft are directly equivalent to their US Dollar value in real life.
Fluctuation of the price
The value of shares go up and down all the time. Mainly they are caused by the performing of the company. If a company underperforms the prices will drop. If they perform above expectation the prices will raise. Aside of the company performation there are more unrelated influences like natural disasters, international relations, etc.

When do stocks change?
The Stock Market is open from Monday-Friday.
The broker
A broker is someone who sells/buys shares for you on the stock market. It’s basically the middle man between the stock market and you. He will charge you a 1% tax on the shares you buy. He won’t charge you for selling your shares.
Right click the broker to interact with him:
Left map - Lookup Stocks
Left emeraldblock - Buy Stocks
Right emeraldblock - Sell Stocks
Right map - Browse Stocks
Lookup Stocks
By clicking on the left map you will be able to lookup the name, the price, the daily high and low price of the stock.
Example:I want to lookup the price of the Apple Inc. share
-Right click the broker
-Left click the Lookup Stocks map
-Type the ticker symbol (AAPL)
A GUI will appear with the name, price, daily high and low value of the share you looked up.

Browse Stocks
By clicking on the right map you will be able to lookup some popular stocks.
-Right click the broker
-Left click the Browse Stocks map

Buy Stocks
By clicking on the left emerald block you will be able to buy stocks.
-Right click the broker
-Left click the Buy Stocks emerald block
-Type the ticker symbol (AAPL)
-Type the amount of shares you would like to buy
-The broker will charge you: (price of the share + 1%)*amount of shares
(For example: share is worth 100 Meebles and I would like to buy 10 of them. Total price = (100 + 100*1%)*10 = 101*10 = 1010 Meebles)
-You will receive the papers in your inventory

Sell Stocks
By clicking on the right emerald block you will be able to sell stocks.
-Right click the broker
-Left click the Sell Stocks emerald block
-Type the ticker symbol (AAPL)
-Type the amount of shares you would like to sell
-The broker will pay you: price of the share*amount of shares
(For example: share is worth 200 Meebles and I would like to sell 10 of them. Total value that the broker will pay you = 200*10 = 2000 Meebles)
