Too many shouts... (-100 meebles)

I absolutely hate this. I type quite fast, so fast that I lose arround 100 meebles very often due to shouting.

I think shouting should be free for donators. It even promised me that when I donated!

This should be removed. You cannot charge people just for saying something. Who cares if someone's spamming? It's the internet.
No server would financially bankrupt someone just for talking a couple of times. Where does the money go? Would someone just come and take $100 from me in real life if I said three words in 10 seconds? No!

A lot of people including me keep their money in town banks. It is really annoying when you have to change world just to withdraw money and continue /shouting

It is not an effective way to stop spammers at all. It's nearly impossible to hold a conversation in shout, let alone with multiple people. I can't take conversations to /msg because /msg is even more clunky than shout is right now.

I recall an Admin explaining why that was added back again but still people seem to fail to understand why... Maybe you shouldnt shout that much. its a simple selution. i shout regulairly when i feel like it and i barely get taxed. even if i do loose 100 meebles its not that much and with /jobs i make 10 times the money in barely anytime.

We definitely shouldn't charge only citizens for /shout like in old Meep. Why would someone stay on our server if you have to pay to have a discussion? The only fair way is to either charge nobody or everybody.

I'm sorry I haven't quite made this clear but I think shouting should be free for everyone, not just donors. But donors were promised free shouting and citizens not that's why if not everyone can get it then just donors.

I'm staff, we get charged, I shout a lot too, I don't get charged almost ever, maybe 5 times now? Maybe "lol". "omg", and things of that nature simply are no longer worth shouting.

I agree about the "donators shout for free" sort of thing. But still keep the tax for citizens because we never know if there would be spammers out there or not.

Just do parkour or some hg matches to get some money, it's that simple.

You know, you need to be active in shout to be a staff member. Being charged 100 doesn't make me want to be "active" in chat.

Im with Deinen on that. Don't shout unless you have a thing to say. instead of shouting "lol" and another shout being a comment about something why not just combine them? thats less chance of getting taxed the 100 meebles. Again looking from Both the staff side and player side I can understand both. but for the end im with staff. just make longer shout messages and take a short delay between them.
