Introduction: Hey again, I'm epick8 or Zachery, but since you all know me as epick8 lets just stick with that one. I am a reformed pc gamer who has rejected the evils of sony and microsoft systems. My favorite games are Super Smash Bros Melee, League of Legands, Combat Arms, and GTA5 when castro isnt blowing up the plane im in. I am graduating one of the top highschools in the country on the 25th and going to college in a few months. I've lived in New York City all my life and going away to a college not in NY is very frightening, but the thought of going away is still exciting.
Why you should be Mod? I think I should be mod because I've been here a month now and I'm ready to be held to the responsibilities of a mod.
I understand prism well and have after only a few days of learning it and having a whole month to play with it has led me to understand it even more so. This is form my experience with coding syntax and my ability to learn something quickly.
I am asked a lot by helpers for advice on how to handle something and I am always available to talk to anyone if they need me. I've bene entrusted as a helper to train two staff members who are currently on the team after only having had learned prisim two weeks before their promotion. I have a lot of trust in my fellow staff members and I believe that they trust me as well.
I've been entrusted with some projects within the staff team, not all of which I can really reveal just yet, but I am working on them and the fact that I have been entrusted with them means that I am capable of doing the job above a helper. I have a project that I've been entrusted by a supermod that is due to be released within the next week, I have a project I cannot share here that I'm working on an admin with, and I'm reviewing wording on a document that is to be released soon as well.
I also have a ton of time to dedicate to the server now that the summer is around and I've decided to not work as to spend as much time enjoying time with my irl friends, many of whom i most likely won't see again and meepcraft.
To summarize, I've got the time, the knowledge,the social skill with my fellow staff members, and the experience to go above and beyond at the moderator position
What are your weaknesses? Rudeness: A lot of times I get called rude. I have a tendency to not want to ban people for stuff like silly chat infractions,. so I try to do whatever I can with words to prevent it from happening. This usually leads to an argument because they don't want to listen and I begin to come off as argumentative or rude. I promise that this is because I want to protect people and stop unneeded, bans from occurring. I constantly go to supermods and ask for advice on if I'm doing something wrong or how to do it better.
