Donor-only airship

Hello,

Let's face it: The airship is crammed. It's really hard for users to get too much loot if they don't know the secret shortcuts around the maps.

Therefore, I propose a great way to spread out the crowd would be to create a separate airship for ranked citizens.

This would benefit Meepcraft, since it would create another prominent perk for citizens to rank up, since they would be able to get access to an exclusive airship.

Having another airship would benefit everyone on the server who would like to travel on the airship. The citizens would have more of a chance of getting loot over the ranked citizens. The ranked citizens could have their own airship to get their own loot.

This could take anywhere from no time at all to a very long time, depending on how much is invested in it. I think it would be perfectly fine if there was not separate maps for the airship for the ranked citizens. If only a separate airship was created, I would estimate 1-2 days, depending on how the server is set up on the back end.

I believe that this would not cause any more lag than before. It would only mean creating a another instance in which the airship excursion world is ran. If these excursions were staggered with the excursions on the normal airship, there would be no lag at all. It all depends on how the server is set up on the back end, again.

Ah no. Airship is doing just fine. There's really no need for a donor only airship. It would be just unfair to citizens and donors under elite.

@@Toostenheimer I don't see how this is any more unfair than having shops dedicated to ranked members or allowed ranked citizens to own spawners. After all, Meepcraft is an "economy server", not a "socialist server". These ranks are available for a reason. ;)

Hey guys i just donated for a rank but there is one problem on the airship there isnt money raining from the sky so we need to get all of the citizens off the airship so i can get more stuff each trip.

Haha, Meepcraft provides them to make money off of the server. Not that many people are going to donate money if they don't get anything from it.

Citizens purchase ranks so that they can get perks, usually not because they simply want to donate to the server.

Again, it's not like it's creating a disadvantage to citizens, it's just creating another perk for those who donated. And as @@kwagscraft said, the airship is very crammed during the peak hours of the day when the most users are online. This would be a great way to spread out the crowd of the airship.

I don't get why there's such a strong dislike for this idea, but whatever.

Airship is for everyone. Making airship only for donators will only make the gap between drifters and donators bigger. We don't need Donor-only airship.

If you have no knowledge whatsoever of minecraft/meepcraft, or even basic economics and things like that, but you pay $320, you should win. Because that's not P2W at all. It's fair for everyone in a way- it's like the meeble multipliers instead of OP kits. If you win a game of Hunger Games as a citizen, great, everyone starts out equal, but you don't get as much money. If we have a donor only airship and a citizen only airship, what's the point? The time and effort spent to give donors more money? There's no need for this.
