We've got so many features that make Meepcraft realistic, why not add more?
Meep Time system would be like...years, but for MeepCraft! A Meepcraft day = 6 hours. 24 hours = 4 MeepDays. There would be different 'holidays' for different days(aka meepchristmas, birthdays etc).
The main thing about this is having an age! When a player logs in for the first time, or is registered on the list of birthdays. The time that a player joins, is their birthday! If a player's birthday comes, they will be given 1k. Donators would be given extra meebles on their birthday. Other holidays happen too, like Meep Independance Day! On certain holidays different automated events happen. Here's a list of a few holidays and what happens:
Meep Independance Day: Fireworks are all around spawn!
Meep Christmas/Meep Hanukkah: You get a little present head for free! It can be used as decoration or you can trade it to a villager at spawn to get a certain item(lottery ticket, diamond, emerald, etc)
Meep New Year: A diamond block falls from the big tree in spawn! When it hits the ground it will drop onto the ground allowing people to pick it up. Whoever picks it up gets their name shouted in global chat.
Meep Easter: Farm Animal spawn eggs are hidden around spawn! They have a name called "Easter Egg" and a spawn egg named "Easter Egg" would be legal for a citizen to have. The Easter Egg name is in a special color so that people can't use anvils.
Leap Year: Nothing special happens, but it's a thing I guess!
To announce a holiday there will be a special message in chat so that people know if they should be ready to collect their present or see the firework show, etc.
I think this suggestion could add a lot of anticipation for these automated events all the time. Though it may not be important, it's at least a thought.
