Introduction: My name is Luke and I am 14 years old. I've been playing minecraft since 1.8 (the adventure update). I first heard about it when one day, in my school playground, every kid
was whispering about "Iron Golems" and "Endermen". When I asked a gaggle of kids what on earth all the hype was about, they simply replied "Minecraft". Curios at what this "mine and craft" phenomenon was, I hurriedly proceeded to my family's prehistoric desktop, and after a
google search that took 5 minutes, (the desktop requiring a restart) , I found minecraft.net. The next day, the new family laptop arrived, and within 2 hours my account was created. After a few weeks of random creative mode destruction, I started a survival world that endured till 1.3.1, when it got corrupted. After the loss of that world, with nothing to do, I clicked the multiplayer button, and joined the server my friend had showed me. It was a small towny server called "meepcraft", and I have been playing ever since.
I have been on Meepcraft for about 3 years and consider myself a veteran of this server. I would personally say I am very mature though some may say other wise. I do have a very light case of ADHD but that is something I try not to let get in the way of me unleashing my true potential. I am a friendly guy who loves to help out others but can be strict when necessary. I do have very much experience with plugins since I have owned and co owned/ been moderator on servers with up to 800 players online, not to mention I have been a staff member on Meepcraft in the MN era, but after the server had been wrecked by the infamous CrueltyGaming I chose to resign because the server had just become horribly unappealing to me at that time. Now that the server has seemed to become around 10x better than MN. I have decided to give helper another shot.
Why you should be Helper? What I would try to do to make a difference on this server would be, making Meepcraft be like a second home. I would try to make it so you could log on and all of your worries would be washed away. I know that a safe friendly environment would be necessary for this and to accomplish my goal I would see to correct punishment to those who are hating, griefing, spamming, and other wise trying to bring this server down. I would also make sure that those who need help to be helped so their experience here on this server
would be one they remember for one thousand and one days. My experience on meepcraft Is one of my strongest attributes, I have owned over 5 successful towns and been staff in probably over 10. To make it short I know the towny plugin like the back of my hand. As for staff experience, I know all modreq commands, because as stated above I have been helper on the server before. If I am accepted as helper I plan on using most if not all my time on the server aiding and interacting with the players of meepcraft and overall making the server a better place
What are your weaknesses? I am not going to just avoid this section like most other applicants do, I have a few weaknesses worth mentioning.
- Sometimes I get sidetracked (ADHD) but most of the time if I really want to accomplish something I can focus my mind and almost always get it done.
- My TS activity is pretty sad, but now that my mic is fixed I am planning on using it a lot more.
- Honestly, I do not usually help out in the global channel very much although every time I get the chance to I do help countless amounts of people in local chat around the spawn and main centers of attention on the server.
I know I probably have more weaknesses but for now, I cannot think of anymore.
Please give any other information you might think is useful for us to know: I hope you guys give me at least a shot at helper to give me a chance to show my full potential. Make sure to leave all the constructive criticism you want, and I'll try and improve on it.
