Considering this scenario has never once happened, there is little I can offer for a solution. Also considering that to do that, you would have to select the "Buy" button on the VIP rank, then click "Add to cart", then click "Back", then select the "Buy" button on the VIP rank, then click "Add to cart", then click "Back" again, selecting VIP once more, clicking "Add to cart", then putting in your information.
If you would like to offer a plausible scenario, I would certainly change my response. -- But at the end of the day, we've never refunded donations, we've applied a mis-bought rank on the person it was intended for.
Here is the issues I see with tokens. The server can't sell them because it makes absolutely no sense for the server to sell these tokens at a rate of 1/3 that we sell meebles at. Additionally, rank prices from rank sellers will change regardless of this token, and once a rank is worth more than $10 per 1M, I suspect very rank sellers will be willing to accept less money.
This solution is not practical, and it's not solving any current problem. The only problem I can see this a solution of, and a bad one at that, is to break up higher rank purchases, such as Ult, Supreme, etc. But if we're searching to do that, I have no doubt that there is better ways to do this.
MeepCraft has always had a hands off approach to rank selling, it's not the preferred method to donate, but it's not illegal, I don't see this approach changing much, it's worked well enough.
