The fact there is a Grace Period discourages me to play. It ruins the whole point of getting into the middle. The middle is for you to take the risk to get the upper hand for later in the game.
Now that everyone can go in the middle, there is no risk. If you're bad at pvping or you don't want to take the risk, or just hate dying early, don't go in the middle. You can still win the game with the loot around the map.
