Let's face it, the rule of "no grinders of any kind in embassy plots" is stupid, it has no exceptions for "unless the town's mayor or co-mayor (if the mayor has been inactive for more than 10 days) allows it.", or "no more than 30 embassy plots total across 1 towny server may be permitted per player, even if the mayor/co-mayor allows it."
I know the rule was made to stop people from making a bajillion grinders in 20+ towns, causing lag etc and just sucking up the items etc. Currently though the rule is useless, it prevents players from doing the stuff they want as much as they could.
Let me ask the staff this, when was it ever an issue even on meep networks? And why would it be an issue now with the rules I proposed etc? How exactly would it cause chaos and disruption to reign supreme on the server and cause THAT MUCH LAG?
And before you say "OMG THIS WILL LAG MY TOWN CRAPLESS, I run a small town with lots of residents, I don't want the next hornemans to ruin MY town with grinders and whatever!"
Remember that YOU ARE THE MAYOR, AND YOU CAN SAY NO TO THE GRIDER BEING THERE, if they end up lagging the town that much, all it takes is you asking them to tone it down a bit/give them 2 weeks to pack their stuff and move to another town that would allow their grinder to be there.
