I'd have to say for Christmas, because it means my family doesn't care, whereas if I don't get anything for my birthday, it means neither my family nor my friends care.

Attend a remedial mathematics class at a prestigious university, or
attend an advanced mathematics class at a junior college.

I'd have to say advanced maths at junior college, because I'd get loads of prestige and probably be top of the class, and I would probably be bullied for being 'dumb' at uni. Anyway, advanced maths classes probably increase your chances of getting into said uni.
