in Vshop you had items that when you posted for sale dissapeared from your inventory and went into a SQL or some type of database the server maintained. You could list those items for a price you set. When someone was looking for an item they could do a price check and buy the lowest one. this encouraged fair prices as people would never sell items priced too high. Folks like Hornemans had hundreds of thousands of iron for sale but little old me could go and undercut his price and sell my iron much quicker.
