Possible Easy Kitpvp Hacker Stopper Idea?

Okay so you konw the fuzzlr bot that runs aournd spawn aimlessly? Right!

The ides is to put a "Admin Bot" name PvP Admin or whatever "casually walking" (not running) around in kitpvp arena (with /god on) and randomly saying in /local things like:

"Okay... who here is using a modified/hacked client raise your hand so i can ban you!"

"I'm watching you (@closest player), make sure you are not using a modified/hacked client for PvP or you will get ban!"

"Hey (@closest player) did you know that using a modified/hacked client in meepcraft kitpvp is a bannable offense!"

and so on... and by doing this i think it will do two things if not more...

1. inform those that do not know it is illegal and
2. possibly deter those from hacking cause they think a real admin is there!

Either way it should be really easy and quit to implement and we can test it for 30 days, if it dont work remove it... if it works yeah you have LESS hackers!

Wouldn't this take a lot of AI to even get the mob moving around to certain spots?
It will become very annoying after like 10 mins.
Why need a bot to run around with god armor? What if someone kills it? Wouldn't it be easier to have /god on for the AI? (Ik this is possible)

You can spawn in invincible things in vanilla minecraft. Plus, there's already a fuzzlr bot moving at warp speed in spawn. Don't think it'd be that hard.

Hmm.. It should be there all the time, i mean you would not want Antihacker plugin working only some of the time would you? Either way, perhaps it can be made to "appear" every 10 minutes stick around for 3-5 minutes and then leave!

Wont cause much lag, it wont spam chat, people don't read forums/signs but will notice a god admin in kitpvp, 50% of mod/hack client users don't know, wont freak anyone not hacking out, etc... so basically most of your points are your opinions and not based on facts. So taking the 10 mins to make it happen, and letting it run for 30 days for a test wont hurt at all!

Pretty much same as above answers, it wont require any AI really but a few pre-typed responses selected randomly, it will have /god so it won't die nor need armor, and it won't be annoying at all... well, i guess if you think its annoying then you must not think hackers are annoying... point taken.

Where are you getting that statistic from? How will it not cause much lag? If it keeps saying "I'm watching you, (playername)" or whatever, it's going to get super annoying after a while. It's obviously not a real admin- any hacker whose IQ is above 70 would realize that. 30 days is a long time for a test.

It WILL be annoying. You don't have to think that hackers aren't annoying in order for it to be annoying.

Newer players may try to talk to it- "Hey admin, this guy is hacking! Ban him!" and get frustrated when nothing happens- then they leave. But you wouldn't have a problem with noobs rage quitting, would you?

I honestly think that having a staff member or two in kitpvp would be much more beneficial than having a fake one run around.

This will be confusing for any newer players who don't understand what it is. I still see people trying to talk to the Fuzzlr bot in spawn. Point taken?

there should be a way for donators to mute this because i play kitpvp a ton and dont rlly want to hear a robot saying things over and over again for hours. This should only be applied for a certain rank or up since citizens are more likely to hack than donators who have a bigger risk. Also i think coding for the people closest to the npc wil be very heard. Maybe coding a command block to pick a random name from TAB and say the sentences every few minutes.

EDIT2: this may also make some aimbotters focus on this bot (not sure how aimbot works)

Perhaps you should start? Where are you getting your stats from? Are you getting your stats form your opinion that one little bot will lag the server? How is once ever 10 mins or 6 time and hour annoying and it could say and infinite amount of things so it would never repeat for days... so that point is invalid. Sure you are right if a "hacker" is purposely griefing it won't make a difference but so you are willing to give up that other percent (lets just say 10%-90%) of the "hackers" that may not know hacking is not allowed, and that they will be ban? Not everyone is a hacking is illegal as it is allowed on other servers! okay 30 days two weeks whatever the time is irrelevant 7 day or 7 weeks a test is a test.

Sure, they might try to talk to it, we can easily program a saying that say sorry im too busy recording hackers to be able to chat, please post a "report a player" on the forums with your information. Or just have it say nothing and continue on. Yeah, right.. im sure they will "rage quit" because of an admin did not reply to them (FYI already happens anytime a real admin logs on) and im sure they won't "rage quit" because of the 50 hackers slaughtering them!

Sure, noobs will try to talk to anything, even a creeper, but that don't mean the "admin bot" won't stop at least "some" hackers for very little effort and zero work!

Exactly, Some hacker will ignore and some will LOG OFF, so instead of 50 hackers daily you only get 25... point taken! Thanks for your reply.

Kitpvp is laggy already- ask many of the regulars who pvp there and they'll tell you. There are no stats in my reply- I was referring to the percentage you gave.

Question- Have you ever actually been in kitpvp for an extended period of time? I've never seen you in there. Hackers usually have their chat on only so they can gleefully note the reactions of all the annoyed players. Sure, they might quiet down once they see the name PvpAdmin or whatever, but will quickly realize that nothing will happen to them. Next!

...yet if they're talking in chat, players will think that they aren't too busy to chat. Ignoring them won't do anything. They will rage quit. I've seen it happen all the time- players get frustrated when no staff kicks out the hacker, and they leave. Again, have you ever been in kitpvp for an extended amount of time? There is rarely more than one hacker in kit- maybe two.

to do this you would need a admin which are all busy doing other things, which is why this is a great idea since this bot will act as a scarecrow
