Helper Application from Hornemans

Hornemans,

You're a person you can very easily hold a conversation with, and a seemingly nice guy.

However

You have a town a that was a specifically designed noob trap, made to take all of their money until they had none, then be auto-kicked from the town. The staff team had to hound you constantly, as you did not even have nearly enough plots for the residents in your town! This meant that any new players who would log onto the server would join your town, look for a plot, and when they could not find one they would log off and go find another server. 3 days later, all of their money was gone and they quit the server for good. I have no doubt that you made the server lose a vast amount of players, all for your own benefit. You've done nothing to help people with that money, and you've done nothing but have a town that produces a PROFIT of almost 800k meebles per DAY. A town should not make a profit! While you have since reduced the daily tax in your town to 250, this issue is not something that should be overlooked, and is an awful mark on your record. Add onto that your levels of immaturity ingame and in the forums, and that makes my vote a fairly simple one to give.

The fact thst I thought this was another of your 'assuming that I'll get Helper because I'm amazing' applications, which is honestly kinda sad and I feel like the only person who remembers it.

Oh, and I forgot that you treat others like dirt and think that an argument thst has been going on between you and a player for literal months is harassment, when you've been doing just as much 'harassment' to the other player. Sorry, but I don't want someone as biased and selfish as you in our team.

You are selfish, biased, immature, and don't care about anythig but getting more money. You toe the line if the rules just barely because you think you can get away with anything.

It may have been a troll, but I have no doubt in my mind that you actually believe half of the things you mentioned in that application.

You have no qualities of a staff member, you are an obvious troll, you look around the forums for people to pick on and then play victim. You are self absorbed, you do not care about others.... and will stop at nothing to get yourself more money. You can not keep calm when you feel "insulted", you just rage around the forums.
You would abuse all aspects if you were promoted to be a staff member, and would not be helpful at all. You would be a disgrace to the staff, and rude to the community.

I would quit Meep if you became helper tbh- you are a self-centered idiot who craves attention and believes the only way to get it is to start flame wars. You claim to be 35 years old, yet there are 12 year olds on here who are more mature and have better grammar skills than you. You are greedy and take advantage of newer players with your ridiculous taxes in your town. I rarely see you talk in chat, and when you do, it's to advertise something. When's the last time you talked to a new player, let alone help them? People attempt to talk to you in chat and you are always afk or ignore them.

Normally, with someone who has great potential to become a staff, but lacks the behavior and maturity qualties a bit, I would vote a +1 on the app.
However your lack of maturity far exceeds beyond my limit by a marathon. You don't show any maturity on the forums at all, what so ever. However I know you are mature, but you just don't show it here.

You are incredibly rude. You even called your own town a "noob trap." You call almost all players noobs or idiots. We don't need that on the staff team. We need someone who can keep CALM when talked about because becoming a staff member you get a ton of hate you need to be able to make sure you can handle it and from what I have seen you can't handle any sort of hate.

how many people quit meep because staff let the server deteriorate, or because the "decison makers" went afk for months?

keep in mind the forum presense only affects maybe 5% of the actual playerbase, keep in mind plenty of liars/abusers/immature people have been accepted for staff.

hornemans is a devoted player and supporter and despite his tendency to put on the troll uniform, i know this is not the real player, anyone who has interacted with him in game would know this.

you'd be stupid to pass up this opportunity to "force" hornemans to be this well spoken all the time. Dont let me down cooleysworld, his activity level alone...
