Dicing is an extremely popular and reliable way of consistently making money on this server, so I thought I would make a thread on how to maximize your profits, and minimize the risks.
Step one: Acquire Meebles
[spoiler] The first step to gambling is getting something to gamble with. There are a variety of guides on how to make meebles out there, but by far the fastest method is to get a loan from another player. Don't worry about having to pay it off, you'll make more than enough money to do that from dicing later. Of course, other methods of making money work just fine, but they are relatively slow compared to just getting a loan. [/spoiler]
Step two: Dicing Strategy
[spoiler] Dicing is a very statistics heavy way of making money, and there is a lot of strategy and luck involved. Having a good strategy for dicing can make the difference in between winning and losing as much as several million meebles. Due to the odds of you winning being approximately one half, you will win and lose the same amount of times. So, now for the strategy. When you first dice someone, bet very low amounts of meebles. Once you find yourself on a losing streak, up the ante. You will be more likely to win this way, as you have already lost a good number of times. Don't worry, if you don't win this larger bet, try again with an even larger one; you WILL win eventually, and come out with a profit. If you find yourself on a winning streak, however, cut down on the amount you bet in preparation for the large number of losses to come. I can not stress the importance of quitting while you are ahead. This will allow you to keep your profits, and your sanity. [/spoiler]
Step three: Profit
[spoiler] Now that you have acquired large sums of wealth from dicing, spend it! the first thing you will want to do is pay back your loans, plus the interest. Doing this on time will establish you as a reliable and trustworthy customer, and will make people more likely to loan you meebles again. Next, buy something expensive! Weather this be a town, a rank, or something else, make sure you buy something that will forever stand as a testament to your dicing prowess. [/spoiler]
Failure?
[spoiler] Eventually, every dicer must face failure. Even if you take all of the precautions possible, and use flawless dicing strategies, you will eventually gamble away all of your money. However, this is not something you should be worried about, as if you act wisely, you can get back on your feet and dicing in no time. One great way to recover from losing all your money is to take out another loan. Another way is to threaten to quit, and beg for meebles. Either way, you will quickly get back on track to becoming one of the richest players on the server [/spoiler]
