Changed username and lost town

yesterday I changed my username but now I lost my plot+vip in alpha, however I can get this back by contacting the town owner. But the sad thing is I aloso lost my beta town called MeepTown by changing my username. Btw. my new name is Chickenator2k14 and old name CreepyExplotion

proof: this forum name is CreepyExplotion, you can check my stats to see I did not recently create it to get a town. If you need more proof (which I doubt) you can ask me.

sorry for posting here but I think you could give your town to your new username by turning your minecraft name back for a day, add your new account as the new mayor, then change your name back to the new name...

You can only change your name every 30 days.

Your old username is saved for 37 days so you have an extra week to change your name back to your old name if you so choose. after that anyone can take it.

Perhaps you should have read this before changing your name. Admins probably won't refund you of your town because of it wouldn't be fair to the people who are waiting patiently for all of the negative effects of changing your name to be fixed.

I didn't know it would take my town, since I knew ranks wouldn't go I thought nothing would go.

They didn't fix the issues with towny yet in name changing.

/namechange is a command.
In game. Staff advertised it everytime someone said "name change"
